The course teaches learners to avoid placing sensitive personal or business information into tools without an approved basis, to verify consequential claims, and to escalate high-risk decisions. BC private-sector organizations should consider their obligations under PIPA; federal and provincial privacy regulators also recommend transparency, meaningful consent, safeguards, and privacy by design for generative AI.
